New York City
Out and about in the most fabulous city of all
Avenue of the Americas on Sunday afternoon
On Sunday afternoon, the Avenue of the Americas and some surrounding streets were closed to traffic and turned into a market.
One of the big differences I noticed in New York since my previous visit was the increased number of police in evidence throughout the city.

Chrysler Building
The Chrysler Building (my favourite of the New York skyscrapers).

NYPD
NYPD in need of significant smash repairs (perhaps I should explain that in Australia, police cars are never seen in public with so much as a tiny scratch, so this car on the streets seemed very odd!)

Fifth Avenue
My favourite shop in New York, where it was necessary to make a couple of small purchases!
FAO Schwarz, the great toy store, is the small building on the left.
My second-favourite shop in New York.

Taxi!
There are 12,187 yellow cabs in New York. Sometimes it feels like they’re all in the same street at the same time.
